(solved) Rounded Corners in theme

Hello, i want to use the rounded corners for the theme, because it looks friendlier.
But in my version, i can only use it on Firefox and Safari! (admin/build/themes/settings/stingray)
How can I make it to work also an the other browsers like IE, google chrome etc......
Thank you!

Hi beaschmitz,

Unfortunately this isn't yet possible in IE using the method built into the theme. It's controlled by CSS propertiies that IE doesn't yet support. Are you using D6 or D7? It should work for Chrome, so adjustments to the stylesheet may be required.

Hi Rob, oh, thats not good... IE is important... is there no way? All others work... also Chrome. But the 2 regions "feature 1 and 2" still do not have rounded cornes... is it possible to copy the CSS properties to the CSS codes for the featured regions, too?
THANX

Attached is an update to 'rounded.css' that will apply rounding to the featured area corners. Just overwrite the old version found in the stingray/css folder.

There is no way to apply rounded corners to IE via CSS, no (it may be included in IE9). You could theoretically get a similar effect with chopped up images, but this would require a major overhaul, and in the end you'd be left with a lot of image requests and a slower, clunkier end product. Why Microsoft decided not to support the property in IE8 I couldn't tell you.

Hello Rob,
thank you for your great supoort here on your site!
I have an idea: you posted here a lot of updated files!
Why dont you build an area here on your site, where users like me can donwload these updated files?
It wolud be great, if users could download here alsways the newest versions (like the rounded corners for the featured regions)
and it would help you, so you dont have all these quostions here in the forum!
ThanX

Probably not a bad idea. There's some changes I've intended to include in updates but I usually get a bit bogged down with development and it sometimes takes awhile - but you're right, I'm sure there are custom changes I'm sure other uses might benefit from. I'll add it on the to-do list.
