Is there a simple way to put the Carousel view into a "slideshow" mode, so that it automatically pages through all the content?

Hi,
To do this you just need to do a quick edit of the view. Navigate to Administer > Site Building > Views, and click to edit the view named 'carousel_view'.
Within the panel 'Basic Settings', you'll see an item labeled 'Style: Views Carousel' (third item down). Click the gear icon that appears to the right of it to configure the settings, and scroll down.
You should see a text field labeled 'Auto Scrolling' with it's default value set to '0'. You can set how long you want between transitions here by entering the length of time in seconds, so for 5 seconds, just put in 5. If you want it to pause when the user hovers over it, check the 'Auto Pause' box below the field. Then just save the view and it should transition automatically. :)
