Hi,

The articles aren't posting to the front page because of the page-front.tpl.php template does not include a content region (some people were using it just to display products). If you delete this or rename it, the default page.tpl.php will take a effect and articles will show up.

Regarding the carousel - I can't see Seashell on that link. Did you install with the include installation profile, or from scratch?

Well, the mysterious carousel issue - during an update it appears that the file carousel.css ended up being emptied. I've attached the proper file to this post, you should just need to copy it over into the seashell/css folder and clear the cache. Simple solution, though it took me an absurdly long time to figure that out. There was also a setup guide missing from seashell_pack.zip that'll be added back later today.
