notification/confirmation/warning messages appear in middle of page
messages such as " Your account has been created " appears in the middle of the page, which is very easy to miss. It would be ideal if these notifiation messages that appear in yellow/red are placed near the top, below the header...
( I noticed the same for this template's usage of the Support, contact form -- also has confirmation message in the middle of the page)

This is a good idea. I'll see what I can do.

Here's a quick fix that show the status messages just below the primary & secondary links. Just overwrite the old page.tpl.php file with this new one. :)
