Left sidebar disappeared
Hey Rob!
Strangest thing. The left side bar (containing the logo, primary links, etc) has just disappeared unless I am logged in. I've checked permissions, etc. but can't find the solution. I did just update core and the modules.

Hey Fred,
I just updated everything and didn't run into this problem. I think I'll have to take a look inside the admin if that's alright. It must be a permissions thing somehow. What blocks do you have placed in the sidebar?

Rob,
It looks like it disappears if the recent comment block is missing. I put a comment in and it all reappeared. I'm glad to let you in there if you still want to take a look, but I can live with this.

I suspect that means that the other blocks assigned to the sidebar other than the recent comments must depend on some sort of permission. The sidebar is set to not appear if nothing else is placed in, so if an anonymous user doesn't have permission to see any of the blocks, it'll just disable. That's my best guess, anyway. :)
