Hi I am using the Great White them and seem to have come across the problem you mention in the faq relating to the dynamic display block and sharing fields.
In the faq it says to try an alternate template.php file that can be found in a foler called alternate. I cannot find this folder anywhere. Can I get this from somewhere please.

Is there an alternate version for Drupal 7? That one seems for previous drupal versions.
I have image field shared with other content-types and the slideshow it's not working.
Please help.
I bought some weeks ago the Litehouse template and still I do not manage to have the slideshow working. I see only the arrows and the page numbers below.
I wrote an email at sales@themeshark.com with no answer...

There's no alternate for Drupal 7, no - a shared image field shouldn't make any difference to the View Slideshow module. Could you e-mail me the site details? (sales@themeshark.com is the correct address).
