I have enabled on the global theme setting the posted by user name information but i it is not displaying it on Starfish theme.
I believe that it must be removed from the css file. Is there any way to enable it again ?

This update to node.tpl.php should restore the username. Just rename the attached file to node.tpl.php and overwrite the old one.
