A breakdown of the custom regions provided by Galapagos
All of the following regions included in Galapagos are fully collapsible:
Top Ad Banner: Most site owners know the money making potential of a successful website, so we've decided to help out by including a special region for a common 468x60 ad banner.
Main Content:This is where all of articles and nodes will appear.
Left and Right Sidebars: Two fixed width sidebars. The left sidebar is 250px wide, best suited for lists and small blocks of content, the right sidebar is 350px wide - a perfect fit for both content and advertising banners 330x250 in size.
Feature Blocks:Four feature blocks, controlled by Views and complimented by Imagecache. Want a story to stand out? Highlight it here!
Columns and Bottom Sidebar:The columns are best suited for lists, and the bottom sidebar perfect for the little extras of content and features that are of interest to your visitors and readers.
Custom Blocks:Just in case you're still running out of space, we've attached five more columns at the bottom of the theme to catch the overflow. Perfect for news feeds? Most recent comments? Go nuts!
