Why Drupal?

Whether you're building small personal blog sites or massive content networks, Drupal will get the job done and do it in style. Flexibile, scalable and above all powerful, other CMS solutions just can't compete.

Drupal is open-source software distributed under the GPL ("GNU General Public License") and is maintained and developed by a community of thousands of users and developers. For whatever type of website you're building, you'll find hundreds of user contributed modules that will meet and exceed your development needs.

It's the choice of major publishers and corporations alike: from Sony to The New York Observer, from AOL to The Onion.

So head on over to Drupal.org and grab the latest version now!

Why ThemeShark.com?

When you purchase a ThemeShark.com Drupal theme, you're not getting any ol' run of the mill, basic Drupal template.

Not only do our themes look great, but we've gone out of our way to allow for maximum versatility on the back-end: adjust the width of the layouts, choose from fluid or fixed width - even change the width of the sidebars when the default won't do. Change the font size and face at the click of a button, or take advantage of the custom typography. Several of our themes even offer support for a variety of popular third-party modules, including CCK and Views.

For June we're pleased to announce the release of Diver, a multi-purpose, versatile new theme for Drupal 6.x with a sleek, contemporary look.

Once again featuring support for several modules including the Dynamic Display Block module, Views, CCK and Thickbox, for Diver we've also added support for the module 'Collapsiblock'. Like our Stingray theme, you can set things up from scratch using the included tutorial or just install a working replica of the demo site right off the bat.

Today we’re starting a new series of Drupal tutorials here on ThemeShark.com that will focus on Drupal development for newer users - people who may be moving on from other popular CMS solutions like Wordpress or Joomla or just don’t have much experience or professional history in site development to begin with.

This month we're proud to release one of our most ambitious drupal themes to date, Stingray, at the usual price of $69.95.

It's a magazine drupal theme similar to the customer favorite Galapagos and it's got everything you've come to expect from us and more: there's 11 custom regions, including two Feature blocks that are controlled by the Views module.   There's six different, vibrant color styles to choose from, and we've included support for CSS3 rounded corners that can be switched on and off in the theme settings (supported by Firefox and Safari).

Mako Theme Released

This month we're pleased to introduce our latest drupal theme, Mako, priced at $69.95

This time we opted for a sleek corporate look, and it comes with the usual ThemeShark.com features including multiple layout options and five different styles to choose from.  We've provided linkable icons in four of the custom regions which can be turned on and off in the theme settings.

Just a quick note today - after a rather extensive hiatus, we've restored the support forum, and contrary to the previous post some will notice that we've decided to keep on using SimpleMachines.

New and old customers will also find that the Galapagos pack has now been updated to the latest version of Drupal's core, 6.9. We're going to keep it updated with new releases of Drupal in order to spare our customers the hassle of installing & and then immediately having to upgrade.

For a few different reasons we've decided to rename DrupalShark.com and begin operating under the name of ThemeShark.com.

First and foremost, we're thinking about the future.  Although our main focus is and will continue to be on Drupal themes and development, there's always a possibility that we'll want to move on and support other Open Source CMS solutions later on down the road.  I love Wordpress, for example, and I'd certainly like to see what I can do with it.
